I want to remain on your list. I am interested in what is going on at Trinity as well as the discussion of the role of the Church in urban communities. When Rosedale UMC folded we seriously considered joining Trinity.

I just found out today that the ‘Q” in LGBTQ stands for “Questioning” which made make more sense than “Queer.”

Mark,
I didn’t get a chance to talk to you before we left..but wanted to say that you did an awesome job with all of the petitions this year..and of course an encore presentation for the final victory!

It was great hanging out with “the clergy folk” all week…maybe seminary isn’t too stuffy for me afterall…;)

Thanks for a great week! And thanks especially for grabbing us those great tickets to the Royals/Rangers game..the only 3 hrs of freedom the entire two weeks! Hope you made it home safely. You really did a fabulous job this year at GC.

Thanks, Mark, for all of the great updates each day. They have given a very human face and interpretation to the work of the GC. I have been forwarding them on to the folks in my Disciple class at Asbury UMC as they are interested in the workings of GC.

I am greatly impressed with the work done regarding the JC. This is a positive highlight this year. Thank you, thank you for your part in this this. You worked tirelessly.

I am unimpressed and, again, greatly saddened by the lack of response to issues regarding sexuality. Read that to mean that, like Kurt, I think that after wandering 40 years in the wilderness, it is time to enter into a new land, a new day. Every four years, so many wonderful folks are hopeful that this time will bring change – and then it doesn’t. It is so painful.

You said it so well – pray, church, pray.
